Esto es igual al flujo m\u00e1sico de gas caliente que ingresa al evaporador multiplicado por el calor latente de vaporizaci\u00f3n del refrigerante. El calor liberado durante la condensaci\u00f3n se llama &#8220;calor latente&#8221; porque durante la condensaci\u00f3n no hay cambio de temperatura. Si la presi\u00f3n de condensaci\u00f3n se mantiene constante, el proceso de condensaci\u00f3n se llevar\u00e1 a cabo a una temperatura constante. El calor liberado durante la condensaci\u00f3n es mucho mayor que el calor liberado cuando el gas sobrecalentado se enfr\u00eda sin condensar (llamado enfriamiento &#8220;sensible&#8221;).<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>\n<h3><strong> El l\u00edquido refrigerante condensado se &#8220;recupera&#8221; y fluye de regreso al evaporador.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Durante el descongelamiento, el l\u00edquido refrigerante condensado del evaporador se expande hacia la tuber\u00eda de succi\u00f3n h\u00fameda y regresa al receptor de baja presi\u00f3n (LPR) o al receptor de media presi\u00f3n (MPR), donde se &#8220;recupera&#8221; y se bombea directamente de regreso al evaporador.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>\n<h3><strong> La descongelaci\u00f3n por gas caliente es como una bomba de calor que &#8220;mueve&#8221; el calor. <\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Las bombas de calor mueven el calor &#8220;hacia arriba&#8221; recolectando energ\u00eda a niveles de temperatura bajos en el evaporador, comprimiendo el refrigerante evaporado a una presi\u00f3n m\u00e1s alta y luego liberando energ\u00eda a niveles de temperatura m\u00e1s altos durante la condensaci\u00f3n. El proceso ser\u00eda de 7 a 8 veces m\u00e1s eficiente energ\u00e9ticamente que quemar combustibles f\u00f3siles o electricidad directamente para producir el mismo efecto de calentamiento.
